It all began on September 28, 1990, when the first Movie House opened its doors in Glengormley. At the time, it was Northern Ireland’s very first multiplex, marking a new era for cinema in the region.

 

Over the years, Movie House has continued to lead the way in enhancing the cinema experience. It became the first chain in Northern Ireland to introduce all-recliner seating, combining comfort with the magic of the movies. From indie gems to Hollywood blockbusters, it has remained a place where audiences can escape, connect, and share unforgettable moments together.
