Movie House staff put their best foot forward for charity

Staff at Movie House Cinema at Cityside (Yorkgate) put their best foot forward and raised a massive £3,000 for The Friends of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital.
A series of fundraisers were held by the team at the cinema to support a colleague being treated for cancer.
“This unit is currently managing treatment for a member of staff who is respected, loved and missed very much at Movie House Cityside,” explained Sean Grant from Movie House.
“We were all frustrated that there was so little we could do to help and this is our way of showing we care and trying to do something for this unit, which is helping our colleague,” he added.
Included in the fundraising efforts was a marathon run of 130 miles by four staff members.
